SEDB does something I like

Bureaucrats are traditionally horrible at making things cool.

But wait.

Lo and behold, SEDB secures a 36 page survey of Singapore in the latest issue of Monocle, the magazine which is a tad too obsessed with building the perfect city.

Attracting creative talent requires a deft mix of innovative urban planning, arts, and vibrant street life. They also value a healthy acceptance of anything outside the mainstream which is why an LGBT community is often used as a convenient marker. They are also highly allergic to any sort of censorship or suppression of free speech.

If you’re pitching youself to the crowd that cares about these things, theres no better magazine to do it in.
